Inspector of Turns training

Training as an Inspector of Turns has now been scheduled for Saturday 27^th February 2010 at Sydney University Pool. Time: 12.30pm to 3.00pm. 

Please contact John Owen (MetSEA ATSC Coordinator) to register your intention to attend. Applications will definitely close on Sunday 21^st February 2010.

When using these Training Notes:

Qualification as an Inspector of Turns is to be considered the beginning of training as a Referee. After Inspector of Turns, the next credential is Judge of Strokes followed by Referee. A thorough knowledge of the Rules of Swimming is required when for these positions. Learning the rules when becoming an Inspector of Turns will be extremely advantageous as they are the basis for all decisions by these officials.
